Pet fees vary by brand and length of stay. Many Hyatt hotels charge around $75 per stay (up to 5–6 nights), and about $100–$150 for longer stays. For example, Hyatt Place and Hyatt House typically charge $75 (1–6 nights), and $75 + $100 cleaning fee for 7+ nights . Some upscale Hyatt brands (Andaz, Park Hyatt, etc.) may charge $100–$150 per stay for pets . Fees are generally non-refundable.
Are There Weight Limits for Pets at Hyatt Place?
A common Hyatt policy is a 50 lb per pet limit (and if two pets, combined weight not to exceed 75 lbs) . This guideline (50 lbs each, 75 lbs total for two) is seen at many Hyatt Place/House and Andaz locations . Leash policy: Pets must be leashed or in a carrier in public areas of the hotel. Unattended: Many Hyatt hotels request that you do not leave pets unattended in rooms. If you must, typically the pet should be crated and you should leave contact information with the front desk. No pets in certain areas: Pets (except service animals) are not allowed in restaurants, health clubs, pool areas, etc. Housekeeping will only service the room if the pet is crated or you are present.
What Else Should I Know About Hyatt Place?
Hyatt has 14 out of its 19 brands with pet-friendly hotels , but policies vary greatly by hotel. Always check the specific hotel’s pet policy when booking – especially outside the U.S., some Hyatt hotels do not allow pets at all. Note that service dogs are allowed at all Hyatts with no fee. Hyatt’s loyalty program (World of Hyatt) sometimes offers promotions or amenities for pet travelers, and some hotels limit pet-friendly rooms to certain floors.
